📖 Flamenco dialogue and tribute to John Coltrane
The Jazz CaLó project explores flamenco heritage through the expressive liberty of modern jazz, bridging cultures and generations. For this special concert, the ensemble pays homage to the legendary saxophonist John Coltrane in celebration of his birth centenary.
Echoing iconic musical encounters like Paco de Lucía and Chick Corea, the dialogue between harmonica and piano gains rhythm and depth in a powerful collective sound.
🎶 The musicians and the quartet
Antonio Serrano, awarded the Spanish National Prize for Current Music in 2025 and a key successor to Paco de Lucía's legacy, teams up with rising piano talent Kaele Jiménez. On stage at CondeDuque, the duo expands into a quartet featuring drummer Marc Miralta and electric bassist Choby Santoro to deliver a rich sonic experience.
✨ A singular concert bridging flamenco heritage and jazz improvisation in Madrid.
