📖 Encounter, Education and the Future of Design

Bid26 serves as a platform connecting design, education, and practice within the Ibero-American context. It is designed as an open space for professionals, academic institutions, businesses, and communities to share processes and build collaborative networks.

Through exhibitions, professional activities, and events open to the general public, the biennial promotes dialogue between design and other disciplines to explore its response to contemporary challenges.

In this edition, the professional call merges with the BID Teaching and Design Meeting under shared thematic axes. The schedule features the exhibition bid_est/ Jóvenes talentos: Cartografía de futuros and the FABID 26 academic forum with paper presentations.

🎨 Central de Diseño and Matadero Madrid

Located in the Matadero Madrid cultural center, Central de Diseño serves as the recurring venue hosting this major international biennial.

✨ An essential event to explore the pulse and future directions of Ibero-American design.
