📖 A decade of artistic maturity and visual play

This exhibition reviews ten crucial years in Madoz's artistic and personal journey. Most of the nearly one hundred selected photographs are being displayed to the public for the first time, reflecting a mature process that is both serene and painful.

Alongside the photographs, the show includes documents, physical objects, and installations that illustrate the path from the initial concept to the final work, embodying the abstract perception the artist himself calls "the activity of a distracted mind."

Chema Madoz (Madrid, 1958) is one of Spain's most acclaimed contemporary photographers, awarded the National Photography Award and the Gold Medal of Fine Arts. His work decontextualizes ordinary objects to reveal hidden associations bridging poetry, sculpture, and photography.
