📖 Ecosystems, art, and rural heritage

Subtitled "The ecosystem of mowing meadows and ash dehesas of the Alto Valle del Lozoya-Paular", the project reflects on the historical connection between sustainable grazing, meadow mowing, and landscape conservation in the Sierra de Guadarrama.

The display brings together paintings by Julia Vallespín, Juan Higueras, Daniel García, Bernardo Lara, Antonio Montero, and Alessandro Taiana; sculptures by Federico Gómez; and photographs by H&H (Mikael Helsing and Nuria Hijano), alongside works made with organic biomaterials.

🎨 Espacio Paular Contemporáneo

Located in the restored Carthusian cells of the monastery, this venue features high ceilings, four interconnected galleries, an upper viewing walkway, and access to historic courtyards, offering an exceptional setting for modern art.

ℹ️ Good to know: Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (except public holidays). Admission is combined with the visit to the main Cloister and Carducho's Carthusian series.

✨ An inspiring dialogue between artistic creation, science, and nature conservation.
