Sala Alcalá 31 hosts an extensive retrospective dedicated to the creative world of Miki Leal, bringing together two decades of career in an immersive presentation. 🎨✨

The exhibition offers a journey through more than 120 works by the Seville-born artist, spanning multiple artistic disciplines and a site-specific architectural intervention.

📖 A visual journey between the everyday and the heroic

The exhibition showcases over 120 pieces created across the past 20 years, bringing together paintings, prints, ceramics, sculptures, furniture, and previously unseen works. The project takes its name from a 2025 series rooted in autobiography and hedonism, branching out into references to architecture, design, cinema, music, and personal memories.

The display is arranged across two floors without following a chronological order: the ground floor features works produced from 2017 onward, while the upper floor presents thematic dialogues with earlier pieces. Additionally, the venue is transformed into a three-dimensional drawing inspired by Villa Arpel from Jacques Lagrange's film "Mon Oncle".

🎨 About the artist

Miki Leal (Seville, 1974) works primarily on paper, crafting an abstract figuration infused with pop and dreamlike touches. His associative method builds scenes and vivid color combinations linked to emotional states.
