📖 A human symphony on Chekhov

Far from a period drama, the play offers an electric stage synthesis of four masterpieces: Uncle Vanya, The Seagull, Three Sisters, and The Cherry Orchard. The narrative examines lost dreams, anxiety, and cynicism in a society that sips tea while the world burns around it.

Four recognizable figures voice this collective paralysis: Iván, burdened by fulfilled expectations; Aleksei, an entrepreneur trading everything to mask his inner void; Ania, a precarious young artist; and Anfisa, the embodiment of invisible caregiving. The piece maintains Chekhov's trademark irony and humor throughout.

🎭 Staged by L’Om Imprebís

Company L’Om Imprebís brings this deep reflection on modern inertia and existential purpose to the stage at Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa in central Madrid.

ℹ️ Good to know: Recommended for adult audiences. The performance begins strictly on time; late entry is not permitted under any circumstances once the doors close.

✨ A lucid, poignant dialogue between Chekhov's world and our modern life.
