📖 Dialogue between contemporary dance and tradition

The piece stems from an artistic research project begun in 2016 exploring Las Sinsombrero, the women creators and thinkers of the Generation of '27 who modernized culture during the 1920s and 1930s before being silenced.

Through a transformative conversation between contemporary dance and Spanish dance, this creation celebrates the power of dance as a ritual and catalyst for change, centering on freedom, cooperation, and collective strength.

🎭 The company and the 21distritos program

Mucha Muchacha turns historical memory into an engine to address the present, crafting a statement of intent around community, womanhood, and shared empowerment.

The performance takes place under the 21distritos program at the Auditorio y sala de exposiciones Paco de Lucía, bringing contemporary performing arts to neighborhood venues.

ℹ️ Good to know: general audience performance with a recommended minimum age of 8 years.

✨ A vibrant celebration of togetherness and living memory expressed through dance.
