Acclaimed dancer Rocío Molina arrives at Teatros del Canal with Caída del Cielo, a visceral scenic journey transforming the concept of falling into a celebration of freedom and the physical body. 💃✨

Co-directed and dramaturgically shaped alongside Carlos Malquerie, the production features original music by Eduardo Trassierra and musical collaborations by José Ángel Carmona, José Manuel Ramos “Oruco”, and Pablo Martín Jones. On stage at Sala Roja Concha Velasco, Molina performs with Oscar Lagos on guitars, Kiko Peña on vocals and electric bass, and live percussion and electronics by Oruco and Martín Jones, alongside costume designs by Cecilia Molano.

The piece is designed as a descent between light and shadow where the dancer interrogates the boundaries of silence, music, and noise. Molina redefines her physical connection with the stage floor, turning each footwork pattern, shift, and gesture into an exploration anchored in the essence of womanhood.

Drawing from traditional flamenco codes, the choreography pushes boundaries towards contemporary artistic languages, establishing thoughtful connections with visual arts, philosophy, cinema, and literature without ever losing sight of its raw foundations.
