📖 The remains of a rock group
The play centers on Verborrea, a fictional rock band inspired by real underground groups. Its surviving members live holed up in a rundown house in the Sierra Norte mountains of Madrid. Leading them is frontman Segismundo Tóxico, who gets by selling pins in line for Taylor Swift concerts and dealing small amounts of drugs.
Tensions rise as his family attempts to evict him to turn the property into an Airbnb vacation rental, while he insists that he will only leave feet first.
🎭 Pablo Remón and his regular cast
Through this tragicomic lens, Remón redefines hope when the expected future never arrives, proposing that punk is simply enduring and making noise. The production brings together actors Javier Cámara, Israel Elejalde, Marta Nieto, and Emilio Tomé on stage at Nave 10 Matadero, continuing their long-standing artistic partnership.
✨ A sharp theatrical premiere exploring survival and resistance against all odds.
