On stage, Alana Sinkëy offers a musical journey through pieces addressing personal identity, memory, love, longing, and connection to her African roots. Performing alongside Alejandro Villafranca on guitar, Marcel Dávila on percussion, and Pablo Fergus on keyboards, she delivers a warm, refined, and nuanced live performance.

Sung in Portuguese, Spanish, and Guinea-Bissau Creole, the repertoire seamlessly weaves African folklore with jazz, soul, flamenco elements, and subtle electronics, creating a distinctly personal and modern soundscape.

🏛️ Artistic background and solo vision

Born in Lisbon with roots in Guinea-Bissau, Sinkëy began her musical development under the inspiration of her father, celebrated musician Bidinte. Following years collaborating on acclaimed music projects, including milestones at the Premios Enlace Funk, she now displays her authentic solo direction at Café Teatro La Marazuela.
