📖 The story

On Christmas Eve Clara is given a nutcracker. That night the toy comes to life and takes her to a magical world where she faces the Mouse Queen and her army.

After the battle the Nutcracker, now a prince, takes Clara to the Kingdom of Sweets, where she is welcomed with a feast of dances to Tchaikovsky's music.

🏛️ The Real Teatro de Retiro

This is the Teatro Real's family venue, next to the Pacífico neighbourhood. It hosts El Real Junior: opera, dance, concerts and workshops designed for children to discover live music.

ℹ️ Good to know: Running time about 1 hour 40 minutes. It takes place at the Real Teatro de Retiro, not the main opera house.
