Gospel is once again the soundtrack of Christmas in Madrid: four international choirs over ten days. 🎶🙌

The 32nd edition of Grandes del Góspel returns to its usual home, the Sala Guirau at Fernán Gómez. Centro Cultural de la Villa, with artistic direction by Luis Manjarrés.

📖 What to expect

Three-time Grammy winners Soweto Gospel Choir give the European premiere of JOY, a tribute to Nelson Mandela's legacy (8, 10, 11 and 12 December). The Black Heritage Choir presents The Soul of Gospel, a journey through African American sacred music (3 to 6 December).

The New Orleans Gospel Choir brings Mardi Jazz Party, mixing gospel, brass bands and New Orleans carnival (9 December), and Madrid's Gospel Living Water stars in Oh Madrid Happy Day (4 December, 5.30 pm).

The Centro Cultural de la Villa, beneath Plaza de Colón, has long been Madrid's home of gospel and is one of the city's leading municipal venues for music and theatre.
